Registering Rental Properties

1) Rental Property Registration Form:
2) For houses built prior to 1950, Contact Maryland Department of the Environment about lead paint registration (see link below).
3) Schedule and pay for town rental property inspection ($100/ unit).
4) After passing town inspection, and turning in lead paint registration if necessary, a Certificate of Occupancy is issued.
5) Property is able to be rented out.
6) Property must be inspected by the Ridgely Property Inspector every three (3) years.
