PUBLIC NOTICE: Review of Water and Sewer Rates, Monday, November 2, 2026
The Town of Ridgely has engaged Rauch, Inc., an engineering firm in Easton, to conduct a third-party review of the water and sewer rates adopted July 6, 2026 (Resolution No. 2026-403). We have heard from many residents about their recent bills, and this review is part of the Town’s response.
What Rauch will do:
- – Review the information the Town used to develop the 2026 rates.
- – Compare Ridgely’s rates with those of similar Eastern Shore towns, adjusted for differences in billing structure and frequency.
The quoted cost of the review is $2,200.
Monday, November 2, 2026, 6:00 p.m. at the Town Office, 2 Central Avenue, Ridgely, Rauch will present its findings at the regular meeting of the Commissioners. The public may attend in person or watch online at www.TownHallStreams.com.
Late fees. At the same meeting, the Commissioners will consider a resolution to suspend late fees on current water and sewer bills.
